You will absolutely fall in love the moment you meet Gum Drop and his brother Sugar Plum. They are two of the sweetest, cuddliest, happiest kittens. Gum Drop and Sugar Plum both have a congenital leg deformity. Gum Drop’s disability is mild. He walks a little bow-legged and may not be able to jump quite as high as some other cats. Most of the time his disability is not noticeable though. He moves around well on any surface, but carpeting and floor rugs are even better for him. Gum Drop and Sugar Plum are both very affectionate and love to get and give kisses and nuzzles. They are lap kitties who also enjoy a good game of chase or wrestling. They also think they’re part dog because they trot behind you like little puppies. Gum Drop is very bonded with his brother Sugar Plum and they want to be adopted together.

Gum Drop would be especially happy to find a home with another cat from his foster home:
Strays living in a drainage ditch who would not have survived if not for the kindness of an IAR volunteer.
Gum Drop and Sugar Plum both have a congenital leg deformity. Gum Drop has been thoroughly examined by vet specialists who do not recommend any intervention since he gets around so well. Sugar Plum and his brother Gum Drop will need carpeted floors or floors with large rugs. Pet steps and other minor adaptations may be necessary to make your home a little more accessible for them. Both have both been neutered, micro-chipped, and given all their shots.
