History: They were rescued from living in a dangerous situation outdoors at 6 weeks old. Brave and his siblings have been fully dewormed and socialized. We have dogs, who they are still shy of and haven't been able to spend much time with. But they are young enough to be introduced to and socialized more with dogs, and one sibling who has already been adopted is best friends with his new dog brother. Personality Description: They are weaned and litter box trained. They are very social and friendly and curled up in my child's lap the first day. Both are very playful. Sushi seems to be the brave and silly one while Emu is the big sister watching out for her. They are wonderful people cats!

History: We found the two sweet girls abandoned at a rest stop this weekend. They came straight to us, settled into the cat carrier and fell fast asleep. Both were clean and well fed with no fleas, so we think they had been abandoned just that morning.

Personality Description: Incredibly sweet and smart and loves to give puppy kiss attacks. Attached to me immediately when I pulled him from shelter. VERY fast learner. Taught sit in one day, almost potty trained, great on leash already.

History: SUPER sweet, smart, loving, cuddly and beautiful Catahoula-mixed 5-6 month old male neutered puppy. Had to get him out of the shelter and want to find him a great home. Very close to fully potty trained, already knows sit. Likes treats. Bonds fast and sticks to you like glue. Still does not love being alone but we are working on that. I will cover food, transport, medical [getting over Kennel Cough] for the right home! A true love that would want nothing more than to be around his people and attack them with kisses. Personality Description: Sadie is full of spicy, sweetness, cuteness and determination. She is always close (on the sofa, in the window, in the room) to where you are unless she is napping. She is not the cuddle type - but more the chase, play, pounce type. You can get some good pets and grooming in when she is tired, napping and being lazy. She does have some play aggression when she gets wound up and has the kitty zoomies! She has a ton of energy. She will bite at you when you want to cuddle and she doesn't (as the vet said, just stating her boundaries, not trying to hurt you). She gets along is small dogs but does want to pounce and attack. I hope this phase wears off soon. She is great on roadtrips. I have a ton of pictures and videos so you can see her real personality .

History: I got her from the APC in NOV. They think she was around 5-6 weeks. She had been fixed the day I was there. That was part of the reason I took her home is she look so pitiful and tiny. I took her home, nursed her and got her healthy. APC said a sheriff found her in the woods and she was pretty frail. She had been away from her mom and siblings for a while. I have taken her to the vet a couple of times to talk through her "spiciness" as the vet calls it. He says that she was on her own for a while, no telling what she went through and she didn't learn how to be real social with her other kitty brothers and sisters and mom. Kind of breaks my heart. That said - she is well adjusted and happy. Lots of laying on her back and belly exposed. She adjust well to new environments.

Zeus

Personality Description: Zeus is a very social and playful young dog. He is a big puppy, whose button eyes sparkle when he looks up at his people. He needs people who can take him on walks and challenge him with games. His stamina is not the greatest, and I don't believe he would do well with jogging, especially in summer. He's mouthy, and needs both hard and soft toys to mouth and chew. He loves hugs and kisses, and shared adventures. He can spend time relaxing inside, but has separation anxiety if left alone in a room. He will do best with a fenced yard, and has not been destructive when left outside for a couple hours. He's not crate trained, but has been in and out of his crate for treats. Zeus barks and growls at people who come into the house, but soon accepts them. So far we have held him on his leash initially when someone comes over.

History: We knew Zeus before he was surrendered to Animal Control, and he had gone from being and indoor/outdoor pup to being always outdoors, with very little interaction with anyone for two years. When he was surrendered we couldn't stand the thought that he would end his life at the shelter (he was terrified and wouldn't have come across well) so we agreed to adopt him, and took him home a week later. Unfortunately, our hopes exceeded our capabilities, especially since my husband is the one most with him, and has physical disabilities. Also, Zeus reacts to our cats, and since one is an older tripod she is often afraid and mostly hiding under the bed.
