Birth Date: 06/11/2016

Weight: 50 pounds

Breed: Red heeler Husy mix

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Vaccination Status: Current

Physical Description: Pepper is a medium to large dog. He has orange and white medium fur and is neutered and house trained.

Personality Description: Pepper is a very energetic and hyper-active dog. His favorite activity is playing fetch with the ball, which he could do for hours. His agility and focus is amazing and he can often catch the ball mid air. He also really loves car rides and will watch the cars on the other side pass every time. He also is a super cuddler and enjoys sitting next to you on the couch or sleeping on your bed. He enjoys walks and playing in running water, like a stream or river. Pepper would do so well in a house with a lot of outdoor space where he could run and run. He would do well with someone who can better train Pepper and help him with his medical needs. Basically Pepper needs more space to run and release his energy, more care than we can offer, medically, emotionally and physically. Good with- Pepper is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He loves meeting new people and loves getting attention, and giving lots of kisses.

History: Every month or so Pepper will have a couple of seizures. He's not on any medication for them but we do give him some CBD oil and that seems to help his overall anxiety and hopefully the amount of seizures he has. He started having seizures about a year ago, we aren't sure what causes them and they are random when they happen. Pepper also has anxiety which makes him hyper

If interested in Pepper, contact Shelbie Miller at [email protected].

Listing Date: June 4, 2019

Birth Date: July 15, 2006

Breed: domestic shorthait

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Vaccination Status: up to date

Physical Description: Margo is a chubby brown tabby with striking green eyes.

Personality Description: Miss Margo is a sweet 13 year old lady. She loves routine and to share space with her people, giving slow love-blinks and getting chin scratches. She's a senior,so she naps most of the time- preferably on a soft spot by the window, and sometimes even on your lap or next to you in bed. She adores treats, and has a weakness for cheese. She really likes when you whistle. Being around other animals stresses her out, so she would be happiest as the only pet in the home. Margo is a wonderful girl and would love nothing more than a peaceful retirement.

History: We adopted Margo a almost a year ago from a shelter soon before she was scheduled to be put down. We wanted to give her comfort in her golden years, but it turns out that she does not like our other cat or our dog at all, and she is more stressed than we would like her to be. We are moving overseas in a couple months and want to make sure this special girl finds the right match.

If interested in Margo, contact Allison at [email protected].

Listing Date: June 1, 2019

Birth Date: June 4, 2006

Weight: 45 pounds

Breed: Bull Terrier

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Vaccination Status: Has Rabies vax. But needs Dis/Parv & Bord.

Physical Description: Zara is a 45 lbs. tricolor (Black, White and Brindle) Bull Terrier.

Personality Description: Zara has a great sense of humor, loves her people and loves to make them laugh. She is very people and food focused. Her ideal home would include only older kids (or no kids) and no cats or other dogs. She also loves to cuddle and stay close by. A yard would be great for her as well but she can work with an apartment with proper walks.

History: Zara came to us as a foster and was surrendered by her original owner due to a busy work schedule. We were told that she was dog and cat aggressive, but did not know to what extent. Shortly after having Zara, we discovered we were having our first child. We've had Zara for 2 years and throughout that time, we trained her to the best of our abilities and means, as well as grown to love and adore her. She has a great personality and temperament for the right family. Ideally, people with older kids and/or no other dogs or cats. We believe she reacts out of fear and anxiety, as opposed to aggression. We also believe that with the right family, time and training, Zara will thrive both in the house and outdoors. We have tried very hard over the past couple of years to help Zara with her issues and now that we have a young child, we have even less time and resources to devote to her needs. At this point, we cannot trust her around our baby girl and we recently had an incident where Zara barked at the baby and she previously showed teeth as well. We can't want to wait and see if there could be a worse interaction. This was a very difficult decision and hope that you can help us find a good home for an otherwise great dog. Please contact A.S.A.P.

If interested in Zara, contact Frank at [email protected].

Listing Date: June 1, 2019

Birth Date: June 1, 2015

Weight: 45 pounds

Breed: Cowhound

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Vaccination Status: Current on all vaccines-due in January 2020, current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.

Physical Description: Moomoo has a gorgeous patched coat-she looks like a cow or Apaloosa horse! She has hound ears, a whippet like tail, and a beautiful smile.

Personality Description: Sweeter than pecan pie, she's a little timid at first-more so with men than women. She's very treat oriented, loves to give kisses and snuggle . She's spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, housebroken, good with other dogs and absolutely fine with cats. She's passed an IAR assessment with "Flying colors".

History: Moomoo was posted on facebook by her "Aunt" who said she had to go ASAP. Her original owner had five dogs, the other four attacked Moomoo numerous times. When her owner died her "Aunt" took her, but was in some degree of homelessness and Moomoo lived in a truck for several months. I got her in January and have been trying to find her a great home ever since. She's living at K-9 R&R Pet Retreat where everyone loves her and take great care of her, but it's not a home!

If interested in Moomoo, contact Noelle at [email protected].
