10 year old • Male • 35 lbs
Melvin is mostly black with a beautiful white patch on his chest, a white muzzle, adorable white crew socks, and floppy long ears.
Get ready to meet one of the gentlest, sweetest-natured, and snuggliest boys around. Melvin loves everyone--from kids of all ages to adults, and his dog foster sister, too. See them in the photo on the couch, lying together. He loves to be petted and touched, and be right by your side whenever possible. So Melvin is looking for a family who is home a lot, and can give him plenty of love, consistency, and attention. Especially since he still gets a little anxious when his humans aren’t nearby. He will need an experienced dog owner. Melvin needs some exercise with a few walks and some running time in his day. He is crate-trained and house-trained. He has so much love to give his new family. And as his human foster brother aptly said, Melvin is a total love dog!
