All About Me

Monte Carlo is our little tiger! He has a beautiful brindle coat that makes him look just like the king of the jungle. He has an athletic boxer body with a big ole lightbulb head. He is trimmed in white: socks, neck, chest, and the tip of his tail. His ears stick straight up when something gets his attention.

Monte Carlo is a lover boy. He loves to smile, cuddle, lick, and be loved on. He is very friendly, and has enjoyed meeting new people and all sizes of dogs. Monte has great puppy energy without the puppy drama! He is very handsome and is complimented everywhere we go. Monte rarely barks (which is good, as we live in an apartment next to apartments with dogs), is house-trained, and is a great leash walker.

Monte is very smart and quick to pick up on training. He knows Sit, Stay, Down, Paw, and Hug. He is quickly learning new tricks and even sits for strangers. We are working on crate training and extending the amount of time he spends alone. Monte is very curious and loves long walks and looking out windows. He is a little scared of big roads, loud noises, and fast cars--so walks in nature or a secluded area are more of his scene. He is a great exercise partner and needs to go on a few walks a day to burn through some of his energy.

Monte is very well behaved and overall an amazing dog. As first-time fosters, we have had few issues and think he would be a great pup for both new and experienced dog owners.
