All About Me

Cheddar has a sturdy tan body with white and black markings, a sweet black snout, floppy ears, and a very expressive face. His defining feature is his enormous paws.

Cheddar is a popular personality around the neighborhood! He's a social butterfly who loves people and adores other dogs. A normal walk for Cheddar involves at least three people passing by calling out his name—he has made friends that easily! Cheddar is eager and respectful when meeting dogs, and would do great in a home with an older brother or sister dog who he can look up to and learn from.

Cheddar has a lot of energy and needs a fenced-in backyard and an active household, as well as a family that is committed to training. Because of his energy, he will do best in a house without young children.

He is super smart and has learned the commands Sit and Lay down, and we're working on Shake/Wait. Cheddar is house-trained, sleeps through the night, and has acclimated to his crate. He has also done well sharing a house with a cat. He loves his ropes toy and especially bones!

He's still growing into his body (we think he will be a big boy, given the size of his paws), and is loveably clumsy and trips over himself in excitement quickly, before rolling over for a bellyrub. Cheddar will steal your heart!
