All About Me

Lil' Daisy is a petite beagle with the cutest freckles on her nose and long floppy ears. She has no sight in her right eye and limited vision in the left.

Lil' Daisy is just as sweet as they come! She’s just so calm, quiet, and serene. And she loves to be snuggled and loved on. But she shows her spunk when other dogs get too feisty with her, and lets them know she needs some space! Daisy also loves to run and play in the fenced yard and to cuddle with her foster dog brother. AND she even enjoys cats! Initially shy when meeting people, she quickly warms right up to anyone. Despite her sight impairment, for now she gets around fine. We are working on house training. Daisy would really love another friendly dog as a companion, but can also be adopted alone.

Health

Lil' Daisy's left eye has glaucoma. Daily prescription eye drops (needed 3x per day for the next year) are slowing its progression, but eventually she will be completely blind. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.

History

Lil' Daisy was surrendered to a local shelter. She lived outside her entire life, but in her foster home Daisy is delighting in the comforts of snuggly, warm beds and companionship.
