All About Me

Tess has a soft, fluffy coat, black with a white chest and white on her toes.

Tess is a sweet little girl who, more than anything, wants to please her person. She may be a shepherd, spaniel, or border collie mix. We are looking for a home with active people, where someone is home a good part of the day. Tess will also need a fenced yard to run around in. Tess has been greatly attached to her buddy puppy, Nelly, since coming to her foster home (see photos and video). So she would love another dog in the home. She listens very well and is very smart, and is so eager to learn new things! Tess is extremely well behaved. She is house trained, crate trained, and comes and sits on command (see the video!). She is so playful and curious.

Great with kids, she tries very hard to meet other dogs and is learning how to play with them. Tess will follow the older dogs and try to get closer to them. She still has a little fear when meeting new people, but soon settles in. Tess loves to be held and would be a great lap dog, well, at least until she grows into her adult size!

She wants to be the center of attention and will give kisses all the time. If adopted alone, Tess may need patience adjusting to her new home to overcome the separation.
