Maisie May is a beautiful hound-mix puppy—white with tawny spots and deep, doe-like brown eyes. She is still growing into her paws and ears!
Maisie May is very social, and loves to play with humans and dogs alike. She immediately won over our 65-lb male pit mix. Her meetings with cats have been uneventful, but she has not been off leash with them. Maisie is curious, goofy, and cuddly. She loves a good scratch behind the ears and is and fond of naps in the sun. Maisie is potty trained and quickly learning house manners. She just needs an occasional reminder that paws do not belong on counters and socks are not for chewing. Maisie is easy to walk, and her leash manners are also coming along quickly.
In crowds and on busy streets, she may take a few minutes to acclimate. Maisie accepts crating, but does best when it is only for a few hours or for overnight. Because of this, she'll do best with someone who is around most of the day.

Maisie May was found as a stray.
