All About Me

Miss Mabel is white and tan with some dark spots around her face. She is lean and strong and very pretty. See more photos of Miss Mabel here: https://myalbum.com/album/DwcIWL37dGrq

Miss Mabel is an energetic young lady who loves playing and being outside, but also loves to snuggle with her humans when she is in the mood for chillaxing. She would like very much to sleep in your bed with you (though she is also crate trained) and will want to keep an eye on you to know what you are up to. She does great when left home alone though!

Chasing squirrels and demolishing squeaky toys are among her favorite pastimes, and a home with a fenced yard where she can spend lots of time in the sun is a must for her. She would be best as an only dog or with another dog who has a similar energy level; her play style is full-contact wrestlemania.

History

Miss Mabel was found during Hurricane Florence with two broken hind legs. Her rescuer raised money via GoFundMe to get her surgery, and she came into her IAR foster home right after having surgery. She has recovered beautifully and is a true inspiration.

IAR Sponsored Training

IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
