Jed is black with a slender, elegant body build, ears that stick straight up, and soft, endearing eyes.
Jed has a proud, graceful demeanor, is housebroken and has excellent house manners. He is friendly with other dogs (although he can play a little too rough for little dogs) and does well with most cats. He does like to interact with cats so if your kitty is shy, he might seem a little intimidating but he is easily redirected. Training has been easy because Jed is very smart with great eye contact and is so eager to please. This is a special guy who bonds quickly and loves to be cuddled and hugged. He is the quintessential velcro dog! Jed would do best in a home where one of the family members is home most of the time.

Jed came to IAR underweight with a severe skin reaction to an untreated flea infestation. He has finished with the Prednisone and antibiotics and has shown marked improvement. He has a mild allergy but has been symptom-free since starting on Apoquel. His hair is growing back and in a few weeks he will be a handsome boy again!
Jed was pulled from a local shelter.
IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
