Because Butterbean is younger than 6 months of age, it is IAR policy that he must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).
Are you ready for the love of your life? Butterbean started out a fearful but always a gentle guy. Once full of little hisses, now he now cries out with joy for his breakfast time and rolls over for belly rubs. He gets more relaxed every day.
Butterbean's purrs are unmatched! You can hear him from across the room. When you get settled on the couch, he is 100% interested in curling up on a blanket between your knees. He is curious and playful, and likely responsible for one of my missing earpods...
He loves other cats. He has a foster sister (Juno) whom he likes to cuddle. He is constantly playing with my other cats and chasing them through the house. His unique and adorable playtime squeals will have you rolling over with giggles! Nobody yodels like Butterbean!
We have a docile old dog that Butterbean is doing well with. But he would probably be intimidated by a super active dog or one that is particularly interested in cats.
He is starting to get pretty chatty, so I suspect he will have a lot to say one day! Give him a calm home and a few weeks of routine, and he'll reward you with love and adorableness!
This sweet little orange muffin is ready for a forever home!
All IAR cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.

Butterbean would be especially happy to find a home with another cat from his foster home:
