Wiley (or Wile E. Coyote) is a smart, energetic boy and major love bug. He is crate-trained, house-trained and knows basic commands such as sit, down, and stay. Wiley enjoys long walks, Benebones, and other dogs. He is also good with cats!
Full of youthful exuberance, Wiley will make a great jogging partner or fetching friend for an active adopter. He's still refining his leash manners and would love for you to continue to build his skills. Eager to learn, Wiley will work hard when rewarded with a tasty treat. He loves to ride in the car so new adventures are in this boy's future.
Wiley is a good house citizen, cohabitating peacefully with three other dogs. Accustomed to lots of canine activity, he would love another playful dog along with plenty of room to romp around in a detached home with a fenced yard.
WIley appreciates time to warm up to new people but once he does, he will be your best buddy. He's happiest having his people around most of the time and will do great in a home with kids 10-and-up.
HISTORY
Wiley came to IAR from a rural shelter after his owner was no longer able to care for him.
HEALTH
Wiley is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm-negative. He currently takes a daily anti-anxiety medication.
PHYSICAL
Wiley has wiry blackish fur with little white patches on his chin and chest. He has tufts of brown and white fur atop his soulful eyes and adorable underbite.
