All About Me

My name is River Run. I am a very sweet and chill girl. Even if I haven't met you before, I will let you pet me, put on my harness, take me for a walk, and will follow instructions. That's because I love and trust people. I really like to be near you, and if you let me, I will give you kisses and sit close to you.

My favorite home would be with someone who is home a lot and with a fenced yard. I like all kinds of toys and don't chew anything up! I especially love riding in a car, being brushed, and playing with other dogs. My finder has 7 dogs, and I as soon as I met them I happily played with all of them (from a Great Dane to the little ones) inside her home and in her fenced yard. So I could be an only dog or I could live with another dog. I like kids, although I'm a bit too much for those under 12. I'm a bit too interested in cats to live with them.

I don't need a crate because I understand that I shouldn't bother any of your belongings. I am house-trained and would like to go out about every 4 hours to potty. You can count on me sleeping through the night without a peep, so I won't wake you up.

My foster mom was so proud of me when we went to the IAR vet to get my vaccinations and other stuff. I concentrated on remaining very calm and didn't put up any objections (even though I was scared).

I am really smart, if I say so myself. I've already learned Sit, Come, Give Paw, Fetch, Down, Sit Pretty, and Hugs; and I can stand on my back legs, and I'm working on Down.

I can't wait to meet my new loving family! Could that be you?

HISTORY
I got lost in the woods in a rural county. I was wandering around and came into a clearing and was found by a Good Samaritan! She brought me to live in her house and kindly took good care of me until IAR found a foster mom for me!

HEALTH
I am up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.

PHYSICAL
I have a smooth short brown coat flecked with black, black and white around my muzzle and on my ears, black eyebrows, amber eyes, white on my chest and toes, and a fluffy tail. Oh, and did you see my beautiful teeth?
