Meet Dean, a great dog with wonderful "dad energy." A sensitive soul who is a bit cautious and watchful, Dean's ideal home would be with someone who wants a true-blue companion. He is like a walking weighted blanket, and he wants to be where you are in true cuddle bug style!
Dean loves to go on walks and is a great runner, but is just as great at chillaxing--even swinging in a hammock with you! He also loves food and likes veggie and fruit treats the best (in moderation of course).
This boy adapts well to household activities, meaning Dean is a "down with doing whatever you want to do, man" kind of fellow. Slightly nervous about new people, he's funniest and goofiest around people he knows. If he were taking a personality quiz, he would be assessed as "slightly introverted with extrovert tendencies."
While Dean is great with other dogs and came from a household with three other dogs, he would prefer to be the only dog. Similarly, though he likes kids, he sometimes he gets nervous around them, so he would be better in a home without little ones.
Although Dean would love a fenced yard, it's not a requirement as long as he gets regular daily walks. Dean is cat-friendly and has lived with cats, but may love them more than they like him! At his foster home there are two really chill cats, and he loves to sniff them and check them out! Dean is crate- and house-trained, and sleeps through the night without a peep.
Dean needs a little time to become comfortable with new people, but after getting his bearings, this sweet dog--who more than anything wants lots of quality time with his people--will surely become a happy, treasured, and devoted member of the household!
