All About Me

Busco Jake is full of happy energy! From playing fetch to parading around in the grass with his favorite stick, he loves spending time in the fenced yard. When he knows you're about to toss his frisbee or ball, he spins in pure excitement! And he loves running around with other dogs! (Check out his videos!)

In his foster home, Busco has blossomed into a trusting, cheerful companion. He likes meeting new people and dogs, and he gets along well with the resident 8-year-old dog. Busco would enjoy living with a dog who would match his energy, but he could also thrive with lots of attention as your one-and-only fur baby. Because he is still learning to play gently, Busco needs a home without small children.

Crate-trained and house-trained, Busco sleeps through the night without a peep. He loves curling up on his cozy blanket in his crate! Busco is very smart and knows many commands: Sit, Paw, Drop It, Leave It, Wait, Stay, Gentle, Easy, Roll Over, and Kennel-up. He is a quick learner -- especially when treats are involved!

With training, Busco is learning that good things (like super-yummy treats) will not be taken from him. And after a few minutes of alone time, he is always happy to share his toys! The Kong Toy and Kong bone are two of his favorites.

When he's not playing fetch in the fenced yard, Busco enjoys short, quiet walks. A trainer came to help with his fear of loud box trucks and had this to say, "Busco is a great dog. Doesn't pull on the leash, is dog friendly, incredibly well-mannered, overall a fantastic dog that anyone would be lucky to have."

This sweetie boy can't wait to meet his new loving family!
