All About Me

Introducing Misty Mae! Maybe not the Olympic beach volleyball player, but Misty Mae is the Olympian happy, sweet girl! And she gets the gold medal in snuggling.

Miss Misty gets along with her 3 foster dog siblings very well and has picked up the daily routines quickly- she is a smart girl. Misty is improving on going out on a leash, and walks are getting a bit longer. She does well with stairs, sleeps peacefully in her crate at night and when her foster mom is away, and enjoys being out in the backyard and exploring to her heart's content. With the help of a cozy bed, she is gaining more confidence during car rides. Misty Mae is a connoisseur of all things comfy- her first priority in her new foster home was to sample all of the dog beds and most popular spots on the couches, and snuggled right in! Now, she jumps up onto her favorite spots in one try. Sometimes she does cute little zoomies before the landing.
Misty Mae is treat-motivated, which has been very beneficial for continuing her training. She takes treats gently and is a quick study. She is a very happy, silly girl- her little prance and pitter-patter are adorable- you may even get a chance to see it for yourself if you are lucky enough to meet her at one of the adoption events.

Misty Mae continues to blossom every day. She has become quite social now and enjoys meeting new people and other dogs! She has enjoyed learning "the ways of the dog" from her 3 foster siblings and loves playtime with them. She would do well in a home with other dogs since she is such the social butterfly. Misty Mae is full of little endearing quirks that would make her a loving new family member to any home.
