All About Me

Meet Jane, the delightful foster cat who is the epitome of love and warmth. She has acquired the nickname Janey Bear due to her sweet nature.

With a heart as soft as her fur, Jane is a gentle soul who craves affection and thrives on human attention. Jane's sweet spirit is infectious. Yet, what truly sets her apart is the unconditional love she showers on those lucky enough to be in her company. Jane is more than just a foster cat; she's a loving companion ready to fill your days with love, joy, and the comforting touch of a furry friend.

Janey Bear and her sister were abandoned in their prior home when their family moved. This has been hard on them, luckily they are so resilient and IAR has been able to give them the care they need to recover and gain trust again in foster care where they can thrive.

Jane would do well in a very calm home with people who are home often and can give her lots of love. She would even thrive in a small home or apartment which would be cozy and overwhelming for her. Unfortunately, she and her sister were not good matches ( they are not bonded), as she is intimidated by her sister's big personality and her sister is a bully to her.

If you are loving, gentle, and patient, along with able to see the reward in earning a cat's love and trust then Jane would be a wonderful fit for you. Jane will need a slow introduction and will need time to fully acclimate and trust that her move will be that of her TRUE new home.
