Meet Lovely Luna! This sweet girl loves to play with other dogs, but is also happy to keep herself busy with a toy (see her cute video!) She will put a smile on your face as she entertains you with her funny antics, and she is a lovebug, affectionate with all the people she meets. She's active and agile, and would benefit from having another dog in the home to play with who matches her energy level for physical and mental stimulation as well as a human who will give her daily walks and continue her training plan.

She is a superstar in the crate and doesn't make a peep if she's kenneled during the day or night. And she's housebroken - what a good girl. She knows, sit, down, and wait/stay commands.

Lovely Luna would be a good jogging partner, and would be suitable with kids over 12 years old.

A fenced yard is preferred but not necessary as long as you invest in some good daily walks with her. Luna walks well on leash and also rides well in the car.

HEALTH
Luna is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

HISTORY
Luna came from a local shelter, where she was a staff favorite. Her time was running out, so they asked if IAR could help her. She's now in a foster home where she plays well with the resident dogs.

PHYSICAL
Luna is truly lovely with her unique look -- soft, feathery Papillon ears, and curled tail. Her coat is a soft black with white flecks. Her deep brown eyes are bright and happy. She is a great medium size and barely sheds!

IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
