All About Me

Gin has a lot of love on tap! Fond of long walks and romping, this spirited fellow is looking for an active home with a fenced yard. He'd love the company of older kids and playful dog friends (we're hoping for a resident dog) -- no matter their size! Gin gets along well with his foster's large dog, and they have a blast chasing each other around. It's a hoot to watch Gin play all by himself too. Give him a toy, and he'll scamper around and toss it in the air!

Smart and food-motivated, Gin is house-trained and will go in his crate for a treat. He also knows Sit, and he mastered the dog door at his foster home in just a few hours. He wants to please and is generally a good listener.

Because Gin is still learning to temper his exuberant, mouthy play style, he needs a home with no young children. And while Gin enjoys his human and canine companions, he's not so cordial toward his foster's pet birds! They overexcite him and capture his attention, so he requires a home with no small pets.

Oh, and this sweet boy offers some top-shelf affection! When it's time to settle down, he'll cozy up and rub his head on you like a cat. Gin is also loyal and protective of his home. If he senses an unfamiliar presence, he'll bark to let you know.

Do you think Gin could be the right fit for your home? We think this smart, playful, and loving pup has a good shot at winning your heart.
