Paddy loves having his cheeks and chin rubbed and hanging out with his other cat friends on the screened in porch. While he does not yet like being picked up, he has learned to enjoy the company of humans where he feels safe and knows that he is loved and well cared for. Paddy's ideal home would be a quiet household where someone is home most of the day or with another gentle spirited friend to keep him company....and of course lots of windows or a screened in porch to watch nature TV and bask in a sunny window spot!

Sweetheart Paddy was rescued from an outdoor colony that was not well cared for and this poor boy was left on his own to survive. When he 1st came to IAR, he was very frightened of humans and didn't move much, prefering to hide to stay safe. With much love and patience over a few months, we've come to see the sweet and tender side of this now affectionate and pet loving boy.
