All About Me

Griffin is a charming boy with such a goofy personality! Smart, friendly and playful, he adores all toys (especially bouncy balls) and is always up for an adventure.

Eager to please and motivated by tasty treats, Griffin is attentive when practicing basic commands. He has mastered a beautiful "sit" and "down," and he is fully crate-trained. After a busy day of sniffing and playing with his foster sisters, he's happy to rest in his crate with a tasty peanut butter kong, and he sleeps through the night in his crate.

Since Griffin is very curious and wants to learn about everything, crating when unattended remains the safest option for this inquisitive guy.

Griffin would benefit from continued training on a leash. He pulls because he is very excited to see everything he can as he walks. He barks and pulls when passing people and dogs but is working on keeping eye contact with his walker. At this time Griffin will require a detached home with a fenced yard.

Griffin's favorite outside play is anything involving a ball! He LOVES a super-bouncy ball and returns it for another throw. He also enjoys sniffing for treats as we walk around the fenced yard; lounging in the sun and chewing on a ball is a great way for him to spend an afternoon. He has interacted with children but is jumpy with the excitement of meeting new friends, so for now, older children would be the best fit for him.

Griffin likes other dogs but requires a slow introduction. Once he's comfortable with new dog friends, all's well and he follows their cues.

When he's not busy playing or training, Griffin wants nothing more than pets and snuggles. A lovable cuddle bug, he curls up right next to you once he's worn himself out. Griffin will thrive in an environment that will keep him active, engaged, and supervised.

Smart, spunky Griffin will only continue to blossom in a patient and loving forever home! Could that be you?
