"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." --Nat King Cole via eden ahbez
Hi! I'm a trim SBF seeking a partner for life. They say I'm a senior, but I object to such labels! I'm a Lab/hound mix lady with good house manners: I'm housebroken, quiet and not destructive, and understand boundaries make for a good relationship. Although crate trained, I prefer not to have the door closed. I love to be pampered and will sit patiently for brushing, bathing, and getting dressed in my leash and harness. Don't think I'm a diva, though -- I love to give love, too and do my best with my doggie paws to pet you and hold your paw. <3
Some call me a "foodie" but I'm simply particular with regard to food and treats. My favorite pastimes are nose to the ground on walks (hound!) and being loved by you! Loyal and honest, I'm the real deal and I'm looking for a commitment.
Age is just a number to me - I love to run and play in a fenced yard. Toys, I will pass on, nature is all I need. I will say, I can get a little excited around other four-legged friends and prefer to spend my time hanging out with just humans. (I told you I was honest.)
Doc says I'm heartworm positive but otherwise in good health. I move well and my teeth are in good shape. Additional info -- sorry if it's TMI -- I'm spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines. Due to my heartworm positive status, I'll require restricted exercise until my treatment is complete. Luckily, my friends at IAR will sponsor my treatment and provide my future life partner with care instructions during treatment.
I don't want to get into details but my last LTR ended with my living on the streets through no fault of my own. Fortunately, I found my way to a local shelter and into this great program!
