PERSONALITY & BEHAVIORS
Mary is just as sweet as she can be! A little shy at first, she is new to getting regular attention from people. Now she revels in being praised and longs to be loved! She does well with other dogs, also just a little shy at first, but then is ready to play! Check out her video! Very chill, when seeing unfamiliar dogs, like at an IAR event, Mary is interested as they walk by and just sniffs them nose-to-nose. Mary loves to chase a ball! (She hasn't got the knack of bringing it back yet!). Her favorite toys are squeaky ones and her Kong.
She does well in her crate and on leash, and is now ready for "finishing school" for higher-level manners and general training such as no jumping up. We're working on that!
We think Mary would enjoy living with another dog, although she might do just as well as an only dog.
PHYSICAL
Mary has a beautiful blond and white coat, with some black on her muzzle.
HEALTH
Mary is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative.
HISTORY
Prior to coming into IAR, Mary was chained her whole life.
