All About Me

PERSONALITY & BEHAVIORS
Everyone who meets Colette falls in love with her! She is sweet, sweet, sweet. A total lovebug, Colette snuggles right up to her favorite people and pups.

Gentle and easygoing, Colette will thrive in a calm and nurturing home. She loves to connect with people, and she does better when she has had time to adjust to places and other creatures. Her confidence is growing every day, and she quickly warms up to new friends.

Colette is a loyal and loving companion, and she has an adventurous side too! Enthusiastic about playtime, Colette adores going on walks and hikes. She enjoys sniffing around outside and is easy to handle on the leash.

Colette is eager to please, listening closely and following directions. House-trained and crate-trained, she enjoys resting in her crate and playing with stuffed toys. Colette is so happy to have a soft bed, plenty of good food, and someone to love her.

In her adoptive home, Colette would love to frolic in the fenced yard with an even-tempered doggie friend. She kicks up her heels when playing with Maybelle, the dog she was living with when she joined IAR. Check out the photo of them cuddling together!

Maybelle has been adopted, and now it's Colette's turn! With so much love to give, this sweet girl is ready to relax with her forever family.

PHYSICAL
Colette is a sleek butterscotch brindle girl with white markings and soulful eyes. She had previously been used as a breeding female, so her body shows signs of having multiple litters of puppies.

HEALTH
Colette is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative.

HISTORY
Colette and Maybelle were surrendered to a rural shelter when their owner's home was condemned.
