All About Me

PROFILE
Patty is a sweet, affectionate, and super-playful girl! Very dog friendly, she gets along great with the resident dogs (check out their video and photos!) and loves to romp with the one-year-old in the fenced yard. She immediately understood their signals and responded to corrections.

As Patty can become mouthy while playing, she needs an adult-only home or one with kids over 12. She is an active little missy, so we are also looking for a family who can take her on long walks and ideally a home with a fenced yard so she can run, run, run!

Crate-trained, Patty goes into her crate upon request and sleeps in it quietly overnight. I usually say "crate and she hops right in! She is doing phenomenal with potty training. But of course she is still a puppy! So she requires a strict routine to prevent accidents. We are training her to walk to the back door when she has to potty, although she often walks to the door just to play outside! We are working on manners (such as no jumping). Patty is food motivated, so training is a breeze. She knows Sit and walks well on a leash. Patty is a very affectionate pup who loves to snuggle with her human for naptime.

Patty prefers loud, squeaky toys so the world can hear her play! She does the cutest little twirly twirl when she is excited! The "Patty Pat song really gets her twirling.

Patty will steal your heart . . . so you better watch out!

PHYSICAL
Patty has a smooth beautiful brindle coat with a bit of white on her muzzle.

HISTORY
Patty was found in a rural community and taken to a rural shelter, where she served her stray hold before coming into IAR.
