All About Me

PROFILE
Are you hankering for a low-key companion who is super chill, and is a people lover, a dog lover, AND a cat lover? Look no further, Grover Cleveland could be your man!

For the past 5 years, Grover has cohabitated with dogs and a cat. He is good around other animals in the home, but really enjoys getting one-on-one attention, so he could be fine as an only dog. He enjoys his foster mom's quiet life, and predictably sleeps the day away by her feet while she works from home.

Sweet Grover truly is the best! On walks Grover is happy to meet new people, always wagging his tail. His leash manners are impeccable, and even when he meets dogs who are leash-reactive, he goes sailing by, unaffected.

Grover is always up for a car ride and is the most agreeable companion! He loves joining his foster mom on quick errands, and also is a great companion at breweries. When she plays beach volleyball, he always roots for her team! Grover seems truly unfazed in even the busiest environments.

Grover is house-trained, doesn't bother any household belongings, and doesn't need to have a crate.

Bath time doesn't faze him a bit, either, and he let his foster mom cut his nails, without even flinching! He comes with a bunch of clothes/costumes from his former family, and he is surprisingly cooperative when his foster mom puts them on him!

He does have some separation anxiety (which his foster mom recently discovered with a pet cam). Grover barks constantly when she leaves the house, so he should not be in an apartment/condo/town house. His foster mom will start working with him to address the separation anxiety, and his adopter will need to continue the process.

Whoever adopts Grover will surely be very lucky to have such a sweet boy to share their world!

PHYSICAL
Grover's wiry coat is grayish-blackish-brownish. He has beautiful brown eyes and a white patch on his chest. He will need to be groomed on a regular basis.

HEALTH
Grover is up-to-date on vaccinations. microchipped, and neutered. He came to us a bit, uh, fluffy . . . and so he on a slimming regimen!

HISTORY
Grover's family had to move out of the country and could not take him with them.
