PROFILE:
Meet Huey! Huey is the sweetest, most well-behaved pup! He carries a toy in his mouth wherever he goes, and wherever his people are, that's where Huey wants to be. He is good with other dogs, but likes to be rambunctious when he plays. Huey thrives on praise and attention, although he will become a bit too enthusiastic when given too much!
Huey is very smart and understands a lot. Eager to learn what correct behavior is, he quickly picks up cues from other dogs and humans, and follows their lead. He knows Sit and Lie Down. He rarely jumps up and is house-trained. Huey is learning leash manners with attention exercises and high value rewards - practice makes better!
So full of love, Huey has so much to offer! He is looking for a home where he can have plenty of time to run, play, and be his energetic self, while also time to relax, calm down, and snuggle! And oh, wait, did we mention he likes to snuggle?
PHYSICAL:
Huey is light brown. He has a pink nose and captivating eyes--one blue and one brown. His dobby-like ears normally fall back. He has a white tuxedo on his chest, his paws look like he stepped in white paint, and we can't forget about his curved tail!
HEALTH:
Huey is up-to-date on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
HISTORY:
Huey came to us from a local shelter.
