The perfect love story!

Effie and her boyfriend Rudra are proof that even cats can find true love. From the moment they met, they have become completely inseparable. Rudra is Effie's protector and caregiver, helping her feel more confident indoors after her back leg was removed.

Effie's right back leg was completely amputated last year due to a previous injury during her days outside in a feral cat colony. She has adjusted very well all things considered, does not require medication, and can even run around the house! You may notice her hopping around like a bunny.

Because of her difficult history, Effie might appear at first to be shy and scared around new people. Once you give her a little space, though, she becomes more confident and comfortable.

Effie does not like to be pet or touched, but she shows her affection in many other ways! She meows to greet you, rolls all over the floor, and then will lightly sniff your hand before going to Rudra for comfort. She loves treats, and is comfortable eating them out of your hand. You might even end up with her sleeping at the foot of the bed, feeling comforted by your presence.

She is very bonded to her Rudra, meowing whenever he is away exploring. She nudges him constantly, and is always ready to play with him. Effie loves playing with string toys and her favorite purple rubber chew toys, which she holds in her mouth before throwing them across the room.

Together, Effie and Rudra are the perfect pair, proving that love truly conquers all. Their bond is unbreakable, and they’re looking for a forever home where they can continue their beautiful love story.
