The perfect love story!

Rudra and his girlfriend Effie are proof that even cats can find true love. From the moment they met, they have become completely inseparable. Rudra is Effie's protector and caregiver, helping her feel more confident indoors after her back leg was removed.

Rudra is a confident, loving, and endlessly curious cat. His journey began when he was rescued meowing loudly outside behind a Hindu temple! His name means 'the roarer' in Sanskrit.

Rudra is very healthy but has some minor skin sensitivities related to his diet, which are easily managed with the right prescription dry food. This condition is incredibly low maintenance; just apply some topical cream if you notice him itching his ears. With the proper diet regimen, though, his flare-ups are minimal and controlled.

Rudra is a very smart cat, but he also loves being silly! He is very interested in humans and their daily activities. His kind nature and carefree attitude makes him a good candidate for young children to learn to live around cats. Rudra is fine with being pet anywhere, does not bite or scratch, and is very playful!

His favorite toy is a long piece of fabric on the floor, like a bath towel or blanket. The way it moves completely mesmerizes him, and once he sees it moving, he immediately will pounce onto it.

RuRu is brave and always up for an adventure, whether it's an acrobatic leap, investigating a new corner of the house, or playing with the nearest faucet. But no matter how many exciting discoveries he makes, he always returns to his favorite spot: right beside Effie.
