Because Ares is younger than 6 months of age, it is IAR policy that he must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).

Ares is definitely a warrior. He was the first amongst his siblings to become symptomatic of feline panleukopenia. And he fought it like a champ and was the first to recover. I think his strongest survival skill was getting his mama Hera's milk. He nursed a lot and probably got the most antibodies to fight the virus as she was vaccinated right at intake. Ares has been healthy for over 7 weeks now. He loves to play with his brother Apollo and mom Hera. He has the sweetest memo...the one that melts all "no's" away. He cuddles with his mom and brother but values his solo naps and makes sure to sleep alone a few times a day so he can stretch completely out. His best bud Hermes unfortunately passed away to the virus but over the last month has developed a strong bond with his brother Apollo and they play the entirety of their waking hours expect for the 5 mins they are chowing down fancy feast and kibble. Please adopt Ares with Apollo so they can stay together as they have already been through so much loss in their little lifetime.
