Don't let her name fool you -- Salt is as sweet as can be! This precious girl will thrive in a loving, attentive home.
Gentle and affectionate, Salt shares her foster home with a variety of friends: children, dogs, a cat, and even a parrot! She is often shy in new situations, but she's gaining confidence every day. Salt would do well as your one and only or as a companion with friendly dogs, cats, and/or older children -- as long as they are mindful of her small size and occasional timidity. Slow introductions and verbal encouragement will help her continue to blossom!
Extremely intelligent, Salt has mastered Sit, Kennel, Outside, Inside; and is learning Down, will happily go into her crate, stands by the door to wait to go potty outside, and is practicing other household manners. She sleeps through the night without a peep. As she gets older, she may enjoy agility challenges or other training endeavors.
Although Salt loves walks and other adventures, she also needs to burn off her puppy energy in a yard with a secure fence. She especially loves playing in the grass with her sister, Pepa, who is also up for adoption.
If you're looking for a friendly and tenderhearted companion, Salt is the perfect pairing. She can't wait to explore, play, and snuggle with her forever family!
