Dixie is a gentle and undemanding companion, and enjoys the quiet life in her foster home. She is a beautiful red tabby and white kitty with ultra soft fur. Dixie's inner kitten shines when the feather wand toy comes out! She loves chasing Da Bird teaser through the cat tunnel and will keep at it until the human is tired. She also enjoys patrolling for wildlife and birds from the window ledges and cat tree. Dixie is affectionate in her sweet and quiet way, and often curls up against her foster Mom in bed. Dixie and her foster brother Dixon appeared outdoors at their foster home and looked to have been a long time on the streets. After rescuing her, we realized that Dixie had severe dental issues, which resulted in removal of all her teeth. She has fully recovered, and happily eats both wet food and dry kibble. Due to absent teeth it is hard to say how old she is, and we are guessing she is 5-7 years old. Dixie would enjoy a quieter home with a good view of outdoors. She gets along well with her foster brother Dixon and other kitties or could be adopted by herself.
