All About Me

Are you looking for the biggest cuddle-bug in Durham? What about a handsome pup that is
easy-going and ridiculously friendly? If you answered "yes", then you have to meet Oreo!
Whether you're sitting on the couch, working on the computer, or doing chores around the house, Oreo is happiest when he's by your side. His ideal home has people around during the day so he can enjoy lots of quality time and TLC.

Oreo is a lovebug through and through, befriending people and other dogs with ease. He has never met a stranger! Calm and friendly in public spaces, he is a great companion for visits to dog-friendly restaurants, bars, and cafes. Although he has interacted well with young children at public events, he can be occasionally jumpy or nibbly when very excited, so good supervision around little ones is important.

A smart cookie, Oreo is house-trained and stays in the crate during meals and daytime errands. He rarely barks and behaves nicely on the leash, enjoying regular hikes and walks. Recently, he had fun frolicking in the shallow water at the Eno River!

Oreo loves durable chew toys, such as Nylabones. HA big puppy at heart, he is learning the difference between chew toys and not chew toys, but he is eager to please and a quick study. Oreo is very careful with his plush squeaky toys, keeping them in pristine condition!

This sweet boy cannot wait to meet his forever family. He has so much love to give!

Oreo is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.

Oreo lived outside on a chain in a rural county before entering the IAR program.

Oreo has a white coat with black patches and speckles on his ears, face, and body. Don't you just love his cookies-and-cream coloring?
