All About Me

Joejo is a sweet boy with a gentle, quiet demeanor. He gets along well with children and other dogs, and he may even thrive in a home with cats. Joejo just wants to be everyone's friend!

His perfect day includes going on a walk, playing with his toys, and curling up at his person's feet for a snooze. He loves romping around with other dogs, but he is also content with a quiet day in the house.

Joejo has impeccable manners. He is house- and crate-trained, knows Sit and Down, walks politely on the leash, and sleeps through the night for 8+ hours. Even around squirrels, birds, and those pesky UPS trucks, he remains calm.

An inquisitive boy, Joejo likes collecting objects like dish towels, socks, and shoes. Don't worry, though -- Joejo is gentle with his findings. He enjoys inspecting soft objects with his mouth, but he does not chew them up.

Because of his curiosity, Joejo will sometimes try to take things off the table. When this happens, he needs to be redirected.

If you're looking for a sweet, friendly, and easygoing companion, Joejo is the perfect match!

HISTORY
Joejo was found by a Good Samaritan in a rural county.

HEALTH
Joejo is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. He has a cleft palate and irregularity in part of his cheek/lip, so that in order to drink and eat Joejo must submerge his entire snout in deep bowls. He therefore can be a little messy and needs a good tooth brushing after every meal. Joejo has a consultation with a dental specialist to explore potential surgery options for this genetic defect.

PHYSICAL
Joejo has a wavy, low-shedding black coat with a few caramel highlights. With all that luscious fur, he would be a striking shampoo model!
