All About Me

Lucy is quite a loving beauty Queen! She was also a dedicated and devoted Mama cat a few months ago. Previously called "Morticia" because she was found at a funeral home in Hillsborough begging for help with her 4 newborn kittens. Kind strangers saw - and heard her loud and clear - she was NOT going to take NO for an answer! They managed to get her and the kittens to a safe location with her current foster family. This was last October and since then she has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. Lucy was not feral, in fact she was super friendly and seemed to know to ask humans for help. All the necessary steps were taken to try and find an owner but no luck. Sadly, she was probably dumped out when it became obvious she was pregnant. Morticia is now Lucy, meaning LIGHT. She is a light, or diluted Calico, but also is full of light, just look at those gorgeous bright green eyes! She will need help losing her "baby weight", currently she is 15lbs. Her foster mom does enjoy having a purring "weighted blanket" when they take naps together! Lucy's 2 remaining kittens, Cowboy & Kevin, are also available for adoption. They can be adopted as a family or Lucy would be happy to have a home of her own with other human and animal companions.

All IAR cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.
