All About Me

Hi there! I'm Pepper Potts, and like Gwyneth Paltrow's character in Iron Man, I am poised, loyal, and feisty. My nicknames include Pepperoni, Honey Bunny, and Pepperchino.

With my catlike reflexes and hound instincts, I'm always up for a challenge. Whether it's using my nose to sniff out treats or mastering new tricks, I'm eager to learn and show off my skills.

Although the vet thinks I'm about 5 years old, I've got the enthusiasm of a puppy. I've already mastered Sit and Crate, am learning Lay Down and Place. Sniff mats and kong toys are my favorite form of entertainment. Plus, I'm fully crate-trained and house-trained, and prefer to relax on my crate instead of the couch. You can leave me for 4-6 hours before I need to go out and I sleep through the night without waking.

My jam is being outdoors! My favorite thing is a leisurely stroll, so I can investigate as many smells as possible along the way. I haven't had the opportunity to hike yet due to my heartworm treatment, but my mom thinks I'd love it. I'm asking for a fenced backyard where I can sniff, sunbathe, and explore to my heart's content. Just please make sure the fence is six feet to contain my- um- curiosity.

I'm also super-sweet with toddlers, so I'd be the perfect companion if you have a little one. I love my foster parents' little boy and am very gentle with him. You can also trust me with cats (I could care less). And if you have another pup, count me in--I'd love a furry friend to romp around with.

Ready to add a little spice to your life? Let's meet and see if we're the perfect match!

HISTORY
I happened to be running down the road in a rural county when some nice lady saw me and asked if I was lost. I told her yes, and I hopped right into her car! She checked at the local shelter, but no one had reported me. Then she told IAR about me, and here I am!

HEALTH
I am up-to date on my vaccinations and have been spayed and microchipped. I somehow got heart worm but have finished the treatment for it and am waiting for a retest to confirm my clean bill of health.

PHYSICAL
I am very beautiful, if I do say so myself. I have a lovely chestnut-colored short coat with a white chest, white socks (long in front and crew in back), and white around my muzzle. And my long floppy ears are very cute.
