All About Me

Mildred Freckles is sweet and adorable! Her favorite pastime is hanging out with her person. She is good with other dogs after a careful introduction, and would love to share her adoptive home with a low-key older dog. Mildred too is low key and is adjusting nicely to life in her foster home, which includes a foster canine pal and several cats. As the days go by, her confidence and playfulness are increasing.

Crate-trained, the crate is her refuge -- she will often disappear in it or climb on top of it to eat treats. Squeaky toys are her favorite and she chews on them gently. Whatever her foster sister wants, Mildred wants (mainly squeaky toys!), although she is a good big sister who shares well. She follows her foster sister around in the yard, they pee in the same places together, and she helps her be calm.

Mildred is house-trained. She needs to go potty every 3 hours. She is good on a leash and does not pull hard.

This lovely dog can't wait to find her special new home!

PHYSICAL
Mildred has a reddish-brown coat with a white muzzle, chest, and legs. Sprinkled through the white are lots of freckles--thus her name!

HEALTH
Mildred is recovering from having puppies, from being on her own outdoors for a while, and from staying at the shelter for 3 weeks. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative.

HISTORY
Mildred was found as a stray and served her stray hold through a local shelter.
