All About Me

PROFILE
Meatloaf is a sweet, spunky senior citizen looking to spend her golden years in her forever home. She is spry, easygoing, and laid-back.

As a "stop and smell the roses kind of gal, Meatloaf will thrive in a home with lots of leisurely walks. She also loves a good snooze (or two, or three), and her foster mom says that she has a precious little snore. She is quick on her feet when she wants to be, always ready to rush over when she sees the treat bag!

Meatloaf has her own ideas about home design: She has several beds around the house, and when she's ready for a nap, if one isn't in the ideal spot for that moment, she will take it upon herself to move it to the perfect place! Other times she puts herself to bed in her crate.

Always up for meeting new human friends, Meatloaf shows her enthusiasm with lots of barks and tail wagging! She is friendly with other dogs, too. In her past life, Meatloaf cohabitated with a cat and another senior dog for several years with no problems.

Meatloaf eats prescription kidney food (which keeps her kidney levels in the normal range). She needs to be let out every few hours to potty; and she needs regular brushing. As Meatloaf is sometimes underfoot, her new family needs to keep an eye out for her (and be steady on their feet!) so as not to trip.

PHYSICAL
Meatloaf has a long body with a brown brindled coat, a white face, the cutest tail that sticks straight up when she is excited, and perky ears listening out for the treat bag!

HEALTH
Meatloaf is in excellent health for her age. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

HISTORY
Meatloaf's owners had to move out of the country and were not able to take her with them.
