All About Me

PROFILE
Tucker is an adorable, loving puppy who will roll over for a belly rub no matter where he is! He is affectionate, fun, and very well mannered, and hasn't met a person he doesn't love! With dogs he's cautious at first, but quickly makes friends with both large and small. He likes cats, and does best if his cat establishes boundaries for him because he wants to play, play, play! Tucker loves children and has been very gentle with them in multiple settings.

He enjoys his daily walks and, especially because he will be a big dog when he grows up, he will need to be very well trained on a leash. He is already making big progress with that!

Tucker is smart! He knows Sit and Down, and is learning Stay. He is food motivated and bounces to his crate like Tigger for meals, waiting patiently for permission to eat. He enjoys his own toys, particularly chew toys, and generally leaves household things alone. Crate-trained, Tucker almost sleeps through the night. He sometimes wakes up, and I have found that he just needs a little reassurance and then he quickly settles back down to sleep.

He would enjoy another dog but he would also do well on his own because he's very connected to people.

Tucker would also enjoy a fenced yard and recently discovered the delights of chasing tennis balls (we're still working on bringing them back)! He likes to wander around the yard, following squirrels and entertaining himself, and he loves playing with his foster brother!

If you're looking for a mellow, funny, delightful, clever, loving (and did we mention exceedingly handsome?) companion, Tucker is the puppy for you!

PHYSICAL
Tucker is brindle colored with distinct markings of black and brown. He has a black face, white on his chest and paws, and super cute ears that can't decide which way to go-one stands up, sometimes tipping over his head, and the other sometimes stands up and sometimes goes out to the side!

HEALTH
Tucker has received all of his vaccinations, is microchipped and neutered.

HISTORY
Tucker was a stray who was found and brought to a local shelter.
