All About Me

Butterscotch is a 5 year old orange tabby cat. He's a vocal, curious, and spirited kitty. He is mostly blind - his left eye was removed and his right eye is cloudy with a bit of vision remaining. But that does not stop him from exploring and engaging with the world around him!

His favorite toys are foil balls or any toy that he can hear crinkle. He will swat a foil ball all the way down the stairs and continue swatting and chasing it around the house. He is a sweet kitty - he loves hanging out with me while I work from home. He sleeps in my bed at night and will cuddle with his brother Marshmallow or nestle next to me. When I'm folding clothes on my bed, he jumps up, explores, meows, and asks for pets. When I make dinner, he's in the kitchen at my feet meowing at me and nuzzling my leg. I adore how vocal he is and love chatting back with him throughout the day.

Butterscotch and his brother Marshmallow could be adopted as a pair or separately. They are wonderful cats and it's clear that they trust me, feel safe, and enjoy being with people! They have been socialized around other people - I have had 2 different roommates while fostering them and they warmed up to these new people and I find them napping on my roommate's bed.

All IAR cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.
