PROFILE
Meet Cosmo! He's a handsome and friendly guy who enjoys walks, chewing on his bone, and playing with his toys. Cosmo is friendly and affectionate, and he's always happy to see people. He is a lover, a leaner, and a cuddlebug. In between playtime and walks, he likes to take long naps (and he has a very cute snore!). Cosmo is a distinguished gentleman who has outgrown all of his juvenile behaviors and is easy to have around. He has impeccable house manners and is quiet and calm, not destructive. He doesn't require a ton of exercise but does follow directions well on the leash and is not reactive toward other dogs on leash.
Cosmo is house-trained, crate-trained, takes treats gently, and responds to the requests sit, come, down, and wait. He isn't used to being around other animals or small children, so he needs a home with adults and older kids only. Sweet and friendly, one of his temporary caregivers has noted that Cosmo absolutely adores her teenagers and seems to connect with them.
Note: When the adopter goes on vacation or otherwise needs short-term care for Cosmo, here is a special proposal: The owner of the IAR partner daycare/boarding facility where Cosmo has happily stayed has offered to provide complimentary respite care for him!
PHYSICAL
Cosmo has a beautiful gray coat with lots of white markings.
HEALTH
Cosmo is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative.
HISTORY
Cosmo was loved and well-taken care of by his previous owner, who had to give Cosmo up after falling ill.
