All About Me

Rosie is bonded to another cat and would like to be adopted together. Please check her Best Friends section.

Because Rosie is younger than 6 months of age, it is IAR policy that she must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).

Rosie is the most adorable little tortie kitten you'll ever meet! Her tortoise shell markings are quite subtle on most of her body, but she has the most adorable bright orange dot right on top of her head!

She's friendly, social and super playful. After a rough start in life, she's really enjoying the luxuries of being a house cat! She was found all by herself, as a very young babe, but she's definitely a survivor. Despite being tiny and alone, she had figured out how to catch and eat bugs as her primary food source. We know this to be true, because unfortunately bugs upset little kitten tummies and she threw up those bugs once she was rescued. With some good ol' IAR TLC, Rosie rebounded well, and her digestive system is fully back on track now! Sometimes we do call her Rose Bug to remind her what a survivor she is!

Once Rosie started feeling better she was lonely and needed a friend, so we introduced her to another single stray kitten, Christine! They weren't so sure about each other at first, but it didn't take long to figure out how to be sisters and have a good time together. They love to play with all the toys, climb the cat trees, look out the window, and then take long cat naps, sometimes in the same bed together!

We would like for Rosie and Christine to find a forever home together, to maintain this sweet bond they have formed over their rough starts in life! They're ready to live the good life with someone who will continue to dote on them for the rest of their lives.

All IAR cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.
