All About Me

Bug is mostly white with assorted brown patches including on her floppy ears and her face, with various brown freckles sprinkled about.

Bug is a sweet, sweet girl and such a dream in the house! She sleeps on a futon that she has adopted as her bed. Bug greets you in the morning by rolling upside down and thumping her tail madly as she gazes at you. Then she goes out for a quick nature break, and if you need to work or sleep in, she will be happy to come back right away and lounge.

Bug's favorite pastime is making a nest under a bush in the fenced yard and watching the world go by. So a fenced yard would be a plus for her.

Bug is gentle and quiet, and does great with kids and adults alike. She takes treats from fingers so gingerly and respectfully. Bug is a smart girl, too. She watches us in the house, and, without direct teaching, she has learned our routines and picks up on what we find to be acceptable behavior.

Bug enjoys being around our indoor cats. The kitties aren't afraid and go about their business around her. Bug is respectful when she and a cat are both getting treats and she will wait her turn. She looks like she would like to figure out how to play with a cat, but the cats she is living with now don't really play, so she is okay with watching and nose bumping.
Bug loves dogs. Our neighbor dogs beyond the privacy fence are big and upon Bug's arrival started off with menacing barks. But Bug was not bothered, and pretty soon the big guys started looking for her through a crack in the fence. Now they run the fence together every day-Bug's tail happily up and no more barking from the big guys! When she plays with a dog in her yard, she is so excited to run and she is willing to follow the other dog's lead. She is respectful and loves to play.

Bug would love to live with people who would like to cuddle and pet her soft, soft head on the couch for movie night. She would be glad to help you throughout the day with whatever you need. But she's not so clingy that she can't spend some time on her own. If you've got a good window and a soft spot for napping, that will make for a good afternoon for Bug.

Bug is going to fold right into a loving household and make an amazing new family member!

Bug is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative.

She was found by a Good Samaritan.
