Niko has a silky, soft, tan coat with white markings.

Niko is super-sweet, and is a playful, friendly, active, and exuberant young guy! He loves absolutely everyone, and loves to give kisses! He also loves playing with balls (and will--sometimes--bring them back--check out his video) and toys (he can entertain himself--check out another video!), and being petted. As Niko is working on not jumping, so he needs a home with either adults only or a family with older children. And he needs an adopter who is an experienced dog owner and who is committed to continuing to train him on this and on basic manners. He knows Sit, Down, No, Uh-Huh, Look, and Come, and is very smart and eager to learn more! He has been working on the command "Go to your mat" for calming exercises.

Niko has learned to walk well on leash, and adores being out and about, meeting new people and dogs, and sniffing and investigating. He gets excited and happy whenever he sees dogs (wag, wag, wag--check out his videos); he also is interested when he sees rabbits and birds. He just needs more training to know how best to play with and understand signals from other dogs. Niko is house-trained, willingly goes into his crate with a treat, and sleeps through the night there without a peep. He also knows how to use a doggie door.

Niko is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative.
