All About Me

Hayden is a very handsome black and white boy. He has the cutest spotted pink nose and beautiful big brown eyes. His fosters receive frequent compliments on his looks when they walk him around the neighborhood!

Hayden has such a sweet demeanor, and is a happy boy who makes friends with everyone he meets. To him, there's no such thing as a stranger!

Hayden has been the only pet in his foster home, but he's had many playdates with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another energetic buddy. He needs a home without cats or young children and requires regular access to a securely fenced yard where he can engage in active play (he is not an apartment-friendly dog).

He loves being petted, and he will often sit or flop onto his back for belly rubs. Hayden also enjoys playing with his favorite orange ball or other chew toys, alone or with his person. During the day, he'll snooze in his crate (he has the cutest snore!) with the door open or even sun himself on the patio!

Hayden is house-trained and has quickly settled into a crate routine with his fosters. He is very food motivated, which helps with training. Already, he is excellent at Sit, Come, Down and Wait. Hayden walks well on leash, and with an attentive walker and continued training, he is rarely reactive to people or dogs. (And when he is excited, it's friendly! Hayden just wants to meet everyone.)

He will do best with an active family who will continue his training and help him settle into his forever home.

Hayden is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative.

Hayden came into IAR from a local shelter.
