Meet Pecan, a delightful and energetic pup who's the canine embodiment of joy! With a playful spirit and inquisitive nature, she’s ready to fill your life with laughter and love!
Pecan is constantly curious about the world around her. Her ideal day involves lots of exploration--she loves going for walks and discovering new places. She’s a bit of a morning pup, often waking up early for a bathroom break and playtime. After some activity, she’ll nap and rest before being ready for more fun.
As a puppy, she’s still learning to focus and can be a little vocal when she hears noises or sees something unfamiliar. But once she meets people or figures out what’s going on, she’s super friendly.
Pecan is a smart girl who already knows Sit, and is working on Wait, Leave It, and Drop It. She rides well in the car and behaves nicely on vet visits. She’s good about going outside for potty breaks on walks, is crate-trained and sleeps there at night, though she prefers to be in the same room with her people. A typical puppy, Pecan is learning not to jump or be too mouthy and is working on her leash manners, as she tends to pull. With consistency and patience, she’s sure to improve quickly!
Pecan would thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard where she could safely run and play. She’d love a family who can give her plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and a quiet space to settle in when she needs a break. Though she loves spending time with other dogs, she can be a little dominant. She will do best with a patient canine companion, or as the only pet in a home where she can shine as the main attraction. Pecan is good with older children, but might be a bit much for young kids or for families with small pets.
