All About Me

Morris is a handsome black and white tuxedo with adorable white tufts in his ears!

Morris is a gentleman cat who is mature beyond his age. Even though he’s about two years old, Morris is a calm and laid-back cat who is very affectionate, loves being pet and getting rubs, all while laying next to you as you read your favorite book or watch TV. He’s ready to keep you company and even likes to hold conversations too. He’s very food motivated and happy to be enjoying the good life indoors with a full belly and warm bed at night.

History

Morris showed up to the right place to find rescue. One day he just appeared around the office of Carolina Tiger Rescue. After sticking around for a few weeks, he was trapped and was going to be TNVR’d (trapped, neutered, vaccinated, returned), so he could remain an outdoor cat, but have at least a place to call home with a reliable food source. Upon his recovery, Morris made it very clear that he was not a feral cat and very much wanted attention and to be indoors. So with some TLC and vet visits, Morris is now ready for an indoor home to call his own.

Health

Morris tested positive for FIV, which means he will have to be the only cat in his new home or be with other FIV positive cats. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives. The virus cannot be given to other types of pets in the house (dogs, birds, reptiles), only to other cats through deep bite wounds. It cannot be spread through shared water, food or litter boxes. Please consider welcoming Morris as the next new feline member of your family.
