All About Me

Murray has a typical gray tuxedo coloration with a gray nose and gray chin patch thrown in. The large size of his head and his overall weight of over 14 pounds and lean appearance indicates he is a younger healthy male cat.

My name is Murray, but my foster parents call me Murray Kitty, Big Boy, Sweetie Pie, and many other affectionate nicknames. I’m working on gaining confidence living indoors, and I'd love to meet you - I'm the cutest retired tom cat this side of the Mississippi! I’m a big, domestic shorthair with beautiful goatee markings. You might think I’m a big, bad, dude, but you’ll soon discover I’m a teddy bear in disguise. My favorite past times include watching cars pass by out the window, getting booty scratches, crunching on treats, and taking naps on my bed. I also enjoy serenading my parents with my tiny voice, which matches my personality perfectly. I'm unsure about toys, but my foster parents know I'll just love them when I figure them out. I hope to find a laidback family (or person!) that will give me love and practice patience as I warm up to a new home. It won’t take long before you can’t imagine life without my cute, cuddly face.

Apply to make me a part of your family today and save my foster parents from becoming “foster failures;” I’m just too cute!

History

Murray found a person with a soft heart to feed him outside their house. He immediately learned to trust and soon was able to be pet and picked up. He didn't have a home of his own so this kind person contacted IAR for help to find this gentle giant his new home.

Health

Murray does not have any known health conditions. He his neutered, dewormed, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He appears to be about 3 years of age based on the great condition of his teeth and overall adult size.
