Lexi is a medium-sized cat. She has short fur with a "calibby" (calico with stripes) coat pattern. Tabby M on her forehead. Light green eyes. Her nose sports a beauty mark, and there is a splotch of color to the left of it.
Lexi is shy and reserved at first. However, once she warms up, she is very loving. Lexi enjoys being scratched and brushed. Although Lexi has lived with other cats, she currently keeps space between herself and the other foster kitties. She is still adjusting to the change in her environment and loss of her caregivers but is eating well and interacts with her foster mom. Her foster mom discovered that she absolutely loves catnip. Playing with a toy marinated in catnip makes her happy. Lexi know her name and will come when called.
It's unclear where Joey and his sibling, Lexi, started their lives. Their foster mom doesn't know why they lost their first home. They were almost a year old when they moved in with a sweet, married couple. Their mom and dad took lots of pictures of Joey and Lexi, sharing them on social media with family and friends. There is no doubt that the cats were very much loved. This summer, however, the whole world changed for Joey and Lexi. They tragically lost their parents in a car crash. An IAR volunteer saved them from going to the shelter.
Lexi is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped.
