Very handsome young brown tabby with bright white toes and bib.
Benji is very playful and affectionate - he's got the best of both worlds! He's very athletic at play. He loves to chase and jump at strings and feathers and play soccer with cat toys (he's a star goalie!). He's learning how to be an indoor pet after an early childhood as a stray. He really loves human attention - he can spend hours curled up on his foster mom's lap purring, kneading his paws, and sleeping while she reads or watches tv. He even crawls right up on her chest and lays his adorable head on her shoulder! Because of his early life on the streets, he still doesn't understand everything that happens in a home. Loud (and not so loud) noises startle him and quick movements scare him sometimes. When he really gets into a play session, he plays very exuberantly and is working on learning structure around appropriate play with humans. For this reason, we're recommending that he not go into a home with young children. He will thrive in a home where an experienced cat owner can set good boundaries and help him understand that he is safe and loved, and his needs will always be met.
